CM connectors have a wide range of applications, including industrial, agricultural, military, and marine applications. Their specifications were first specified in the US military standard MIL-C-27487 (AA-59326) and are also defined in the European standard EN 14420-7 (formerly DIN 2828).

CM connectors are available with male and female connectors. To connect, simply extend the cam arm and insert the adapter into the matching female camlock connector. A flat elastomeric seal in the groove ensures a tight seal; a safety pin provides additional protection to prevent the cam arm from accidentally opening and disconnecting.

A-Type quick connectors are male connectors with no lugs on either end. One end snaps directly onto a female connector with lugs, while the other end has internal threads.

B-Type quick connectors have lugs on each end and are female connectors. One end snaps directly onto a male connector, while the other end has external threads.

C-Type quick connector has two lugs and is a female connector. One end clips onto the male connector, while the other connects directly to the hose (leather hose). Therefore, a C-type quick connector can also be called a hose quick connector or a hose quick connector.

D-Type quick connector is a female connector with two lugs on each side. It’s called a D-type quick connector because one end clips onto the connector for quick and easy connection and removal, while the other end has an internal threaded connection.

E-type quick connector is a male connector without lugs and is typically used with a quick connector with lugs for quick connection and disconnection. One end snaps onto the female connector, while the other end plugs directly into a hose or soft tube.

F-Type quick connector is a male connector without lugs and is typically used with a female connector with lugs for quick connection and disconnection. One end snaps onto the female connector with lugs, while the other end has an external thread.

DC-type quick connector is a female connector with a lug on each side. It has a snap-on connection on one end, while the other end is a plug. This is a new type of plug.

DP quick connector is also called a quick plug because it has a plug. It is a male connector with a snap-on connection on one end and a plug on the other end.
