Proper installation of rubber hoses is crucial, as excessively long hoses not only affect appearance but also increase costs. If the hose is too short, there will not be enough room for expansion or contraction when it is compressed, which will cause the hose to be damaged. The following figures show the precautions to be taken when installing rubber hoses, which can achieve the best working effect and extend the service life of the hoses.
When installing the hose, do not let it twist, otherwise it will damage the hose or loosen the connection when under pressure.
Due to the high pressure state, the length of the hose may vary from+2% to -4%, providing sufficient relaxation space for expansion and contraction.
When the hose is compressed, its length will change, so do not add any clips at the bending position to allow it to move freely.
When the bending radius is too small, it is advisable to use a right angle joint to avoid sharp bends in the hose.
To avoid damage to the hose and restricted flow, the bending radius of the hose should be increased as much as possible.
Rubber hoses installed between moving objects should have sufficient length reserved and avoid friction with other objects.
Storage requirements for hose assemblies
● Whenever possible, the storage temperature should be between 0-35 ℃, and the maximum temperature of the product during storage should not exceed 50 ℃. Devices that can generate ozone shall not be parked in the storage area. Such as mercury vapor lamps, high-voltage electrical devices, electric motors, or other devices that can generate electric sparks or discharges.
● Cannot be placed together with corrosive products or exposed to the volatile gases of these products. Keep away from heat sources and equipment that can generate electric and magnetic fields.
● Avoid direct sunlight or strong artificial light sources.
● Avoid contact with sharp objects or the ground.
● It should be placed flat and stacked not too high.
● It should be ensured that it is not invaded by rodents.
● Adhere to the principle of first in, first out during storage.
