1.Metric Thread Swaged Hose Fitting

The thread specification is usually indicated by “M”,Four types of sealing types A, C, D, and H are commonly used.

Type A: 20211, 20241, 20291

Type C: 20271, 20741, 20791

Type D: 20111, 20141, 20191

H-type light series: 20411, 20441, 20491

H-type weight system: 20511, 20541, 20591

In metric thread fitting designations, many numbers have special meanings. For example, for H-type fittings:

The 1st number usually indicates male or female thread.

The 3rd number usually indicates light or heavy series.

The 4th number usually indicates 0°, 45°, or 90°.

The 5th number usually indicates used in braided or spiral constructions hoses.

2.BSP,BSPT & JIS Swaged Hose Fitting

The thread specification is usually indicated by “G”, Includes BSP threads, BSPT threads, and JIS threads

Common codes include: 12611, 22611, 29611, etc

For example, for BSP fittings:

22611 means the connector has one nut, as shown in the left picture .

22611D means the connector has two nuts, as shown in the right picture.

3.NPT,ORFS & JIC Swaged Hose Fitting

Thread specifications are usually expressed in inches without any letters, Includes NPT threads, ORFS threads, and JIC threads

Common codes include: 15611, 24211, 26711, etc

Usually standard NPT threads only have male thread connectors.

4.SAE Flange & Banjo Swaged Hose Fitting

Flanges are divided into light series and heavy series, and the codes are usually represented as 87311 and 87611.

Banjo fittings include BSP and metric systems, and the threads are usually represented by “G” or “M”

The code is usually represented as 70011, 72011
