GOST 18698-79 Steam Hose
● Material structure: Made of natural rubber, with an internal textile reinforcement layer to improve durability and wear resistance.
● Size options: The inner diameter specifications cover various models such as 19×33 mm, 25×39 mm, 32×48 mm (some models can reach 160 mm); the length is generally 20 meters (standard caliber) or 6 meters (large-caliber models).
● Pressure rating: The working pressure (WP) supports 12 bar, the burst pressure (BP) reaches 36 bar, which is suitable for low-pressure operating environments.
● Suitable for conveying media such as liquids, saturated steam, gases and dry materials (e.g., oils, air or industrial dust), and needs to operate in specified pressure environments. It is commonly used in sandblasting equipment, low-pressure fluid systems and other industrial pipeline connection scenarios.
Work environment:
· Class B (1) – benzine, kerosene, oils;
· Class W (II) – technical water, solutions of non-organic acids and alkalis with concentration up to 20% (except nitric);
· Class WH (III) – hot water is up to +100°C;
· Class G (IV) – air, carbonic gas, nitrogen, noble gases;
· Class P (VII) – for delivering eatables;
· Class Sh (VIII) – for delivering weak alkali and weak acid solutions for plastering and house-painting;
· Class Par-1 (X) – for delivering saturated steam with temperature up to +143°C;
· Class Par-2 (X) – for delivering saturated steam with temperature up to +175°C.
Work pressure is up to 1,0 MPa (10 kgf/cm2):
· Class Par-1 (X) -0,3 P;
· Class Par-2 ()-0,8 P.
Inside diameter is from 16 to 50 mm, 160 mm.
Efficiency Temperature:
· Class B (I) from -35°C up to +70;
· Class W (II ) and P( VII) up to +50;
· Class (III) up to +100;
· Class G(IV) Sh(VIII) from -35°C up to +50;
· Class Par-1 (X) up to +143;
· Class Par-2 (X) up to +175;
Length is up to 20 m for hoses with inside diameter from 16 to 50 mm and 6 m for hoses with inside diameter of 160mm.
